I
like to design pieces of jewellery as small sculptures that can be
worn comfortably. To achieve brightness, I combine the different colours
and finishes of the metals and the materials that make up the piece.
I was born in Barcelona, where I trained as a jeweller at the Escola
d’Arts Aplicades i Oficis Artístics and at the Escola
Massana, where I also learned to chisel and attended other technical
and artistic courses. I began to exhibit my work in 1994 and, as an
active member of the Orfebres FAD association, I have participated
in the principal international contemporary jewellery exhibitions
in the United Kingdom, France, Italy and Germany. I have also exhibited
my work in a number of cities in Catalonia and Spain.
In 1998, I opened my own workshop in Barcelona, where I design and
produce my work:
- Small series and personalised jewellery
- Experimental jewellery for gallery exhibitions
- Works of art for companies and organisations
